Office Depot Pisses Me Off

I ordered 4 pieces of office furniture, they sent one of them the wrong color , no big deal, but they say they would delivery the right one and pick up the wrong one Monday between 8-5. They actaully make you wait there all day long and don’t give a more specific time. So I take off work wait there 8 hours bored as hell and they don’t come! So I call customer service again and they said it’ll take up to 14 days. I took off work today to wait for this delivery and the customer service flat out lied to me. So I yell and next day Tuesday I get two calls this morning I get a very friendly woman saying she is attempting to call the warehouse and find out what date the delivery will be. Then at 4:40pm I get a phone call from an unfriendly woman saying they were trying to deliver the pacakage twice that day. Nobody told me the delivery would be that day. I was first told it
would be Monday, then I was told 14 days, and now people go when they don’t bother telling me. What a bunch of idiots working there.

Office Depot has the WORST call centers in the world. Everytime I have to talk to those Phillipine outsource call center staff I cringe. What a waste of time. My business is slowly transferring to Staples and I’ll be done with Office Depot in a few weeks.

My wife has been purchasing things through office depot for years. She recently tried to purchase a camera through them and one call center rep said they would price match. We provided them the price and they stated it was on sale from their competitor and they would not match. Since we had a 10% off coupon she asked that they match the regular price of their competitor. They stated that since the item was on sale with their competitor they would not even match the regular price. We are very disappointed and will likely use another office supply store.
